Personal Weather Station Print E-mail

The above data is from our personal weather station (PWS) mounted to the house, a LaCrosse WS-2308 Weather Station.  The LaCrosse is connected to my PC via a RS232 interface.  The data from the weather station is being collected by an application I wrote using Delphi. In addition to collecting the data to Hard Drive, the current weather information is being sent to www.wunderground.com every 30 seconds.  Clicking on the above image will take you to the History Page for my PWS on Weather Underground's website.

The same Delphi applcation is also used to send the webcam images below  to my web server via FTP every 10 minutes.  Additionally, every 20 minutes, an additional image is sent to my web server.  These 72 images are then rotated every 1 second to show how the weather has changed during the last 24 hours.

I have the webcam in our bedroom window facing to the South. It's a LogiTech Quickcam 9000 Pro.  We live about 10 miles South of Prineville, Oregon, in the Prineville Lake Acres II sub-division.  Elevation: 3780 ft
